A Platform for Global Change — Realized

In July 2025, Blue Harmony had the honor of presenting the Waves of Change Quiz Video at the Blue Ocean Dome, a groundbreaking pavilion at World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Built as a global stage for environmental collaboration, the Dome brought together artists, architects, scientists, speakers, and changemakers to imagine and implement bold solutions for ocean conservation.

The Blue Ocean Dome embodied innovation and sustainability in every detail of its design and purpose. Created by ZERI Japan and world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban, with exhibition content curated by Kenya Hara, the dome served as a vibrant, immersive journey into ocean challenges and possibilities.

Blue Harmony’s participation focused on one core offering: the Waves of Change Quiz Video – an engaging and interactive film experience designed to spark curiosity, ignite conversation, and build momentum for ocean action.

The Quiz That Made Waves

Over the course of our time at the Dome, more than 6,000 visitors per day engaged with the Waves of Change Quiz Loop in Dome C, a space devoted to envisioning the future of ocean sustainability.
Created in partnership with emotion studios, this 10-minute looping experience invited visitors into a visual and mental exploration of the ocean’s greatest challenges — from plastic pollution to biodiversity loss — through playful, thought-provoking quizzes. The format was simple. The impact? Deep and lasting.

So compelling was the experience that the Blue Ocean Dome extended its screening through the remainder of the Expo, which runs through October 13, 2025. We’re thrilled that even more visitors will have the opportunity to engage with this work.

The Power of Questions

At the heart of the Waves of Change Quiz Loop is a simple idea: questions create engagement. By asking the right questions — about the health of our oceans, the impact of human activity, and the role each of us can play — we create space for awareness, dialogue, and change.

This project is a reflection of Blue Harmony’s commitment to fostering curiosity, collaboration, and compassion for the natural world. We are deeply grateful to all who visited us in Osaka, and we can’t wait to share the Waves of Change Quiz Loop with communities around the world.

Waves of Change Quiz Video at the Blue Ocean Dome
